The much-anticipated revision of the new visa requirements for South Africans and tourists from abroad who travel from and to South Africa with children is welcomed. Having experienced this new requirement myself in July 2015, I can testify that it has not only inconvenienced travelers but that foreign airline staff were also under a lot of pressure to implement this correctly. At Munich airport in Germany, several passengers en route to South Africa had to be called to show their unabridged certificates. I had to show this certificate more than once.
